A Moyers Report: Trade Secrets
Art direction, Flash design and development
Client: Public Affairs Television, PBS
Trade Secrets: A Moyers Report uses an archive of documents that reveal the chemical industry's early knowledge and effort to withhold vital information about the risks from workers, the government, and the public.
The goal of the design is to create a visual style that not only tells the story of the documentary through the Web site, but also to continue the viewing experience through the site.
The Web site incorporates some of the documents featured in the program, and along with the typography and layout treatment, creates a visual style that resembles the archive of documents. Excerpts of the documents and imageries from the program are interwoven throughout the site to create a continuous extension of the program content.
